New Jersey's Best Gather For Big Meet At Holmdel Park By Doug Binder, DyeStat Editor Marco Langon of Bridgewater-Raritan made an impressive showing at the New Balance Shore Coaches Invitational on Saturday at Holmdel Park, where he moved to No. 16 on the all-time course list with 15:30 on the hilly 5,000-meter layout in the Varsity A race. The performance marks another step on his trajectory after a big step forward last spring when he ran 9:03.05 for 3,200 meters and 4:09.47 for 1,600. The state's top runner, Jackson Barna of Ridge, was in the Varsity B race but suffered a twisted ankle and did not finish. US#8 Ridge managed to win the team competition in the Varsity B race without Barna, but it was close. Ridge scored 84 points and North Hunterdon was next with 86.
